David W. Linzey, DVM

Dr. Linzey is a 1994 graduate of the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC. Since that time, he has practiced small animal and emergency medicine in Taylorsville and Hickory, NC. Dr. Linzey and his wife, Debi, established the emergency clinic in 2005 and reside in Boone, NC. They have two daughters: Holly is a registered nurse in Denver, CO and Lindsey is a registered dietician and nutrition counselor in California. Dr. Linzey is active in the organized veterinary medicine community and is a past-president of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association. He continues to support North Carolina veterinarians by planning and coordinating continuing education conferences and works closely with the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine with ongoing training events.
Outside of work, Dr. Linzey enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, camping, hiking, beekeeping, beer brewing and spending time with his family and three dogs, Chena, Tanka, and Sienna.
